I was introduced to this store by the lovely and famous Cycle Chicster Cora. Accosting the above dog are the boys at Rowan Sky footwear, located in the city's historical neighbourhood of Gastown. Shoes and accessories are their business so we asked them to outfit our models at last summer's Cycle Chic fashion show. I got word that they picked up some new bikes at Whoa! Nellie Bikes so I stopped in for proof. They delivered. // Location: Homer and Cordova, Gastown, Vancouver. // d.
Second Photo by Caelie Frampton // Ben and Erica (top) are the owners of Earnest Ice Cream and Mark (third down) is the owner of MARKED Edible Design. Ridiculously tasty local food made by ridiculously nice locals. Earnest Ice Cream can be found at these shops and MARKED pastries and custom cakes are available here. // Location: Woodland Commissary, Commercial Drive, Vancouver // d.
Robyn covered our Cycle Chic Social on her blog The Rainy Season and we eventually connected over Twitter. We met up in Chinatown, one of the oldest parts of Vancouver, where I snapped these instant Cycle Chic gems. // Location: Chinatown, Vancouver // d.

My band was part of Toronto's NxNE festival this year. It was my chance to give 416 Cycle Style a short break and peep on the beautiful bikers of Toronto. My meet-up with 416 Cycle Style was far too short, sadly. // Location: Here and there in Toronto // d.
