VCC in Barcelona I - The Conference

In Barcelona. Present were the Cycle Chic bloggers from Copenhagen, Bordeaux, Sydney, Montreal, Rio, Barcelona, Hungary, Dublin, Graz, Paris and Lisbon. We rode everywhere, photographed, shared stories about our cities, met amazing people from related industries and, best of all, partied! I was most impressed with how well public and personal bikes can be integrated into transport and beautifully woven into the urban fabric. Health, fun, efficiency and beauty all prevailed and were tastefully layered in with the cars, scooters, walkways, trains and busses. Safety in numbers was definitely at play here. I also beat everyone at a slow bike race. Many thanks to the people and companies that made this trip possible: Citybici and Creme Cycles, Hood Bikes, Nooc Fashion and BACC.
